Sorry Jeff, I tried to post a video in my first comment. It doesn't appear to have worked. Go to the U.S. patent office's website. Search for patent #5676977, cure for aids patented in 1984, siver4, oxygen4. A one time infusion....Check it, they also patented the production of the AIDS virus. It'll take ya two minutes. A black doctor, Dr.Boyd Graves has made this discovery...Please Jeff,..two minutes.

But Jake, you're comparing apples and oranges. Almost everything sold has a patent, even cereal boxes. United States Patent 4500513 is for the replication of influenza in a liquid culture, most likely in a chicken egg. The reason it's patented is because people make money off of it, billions. Governments buy the shot and private individuals pay $30 for it.
Regarding the AIDS cure, you have to grow the virus in order to test it, study it and cure it. Everything along the way, whether it works in the end or not, will be patented. You can't keep going to blood samples for samples of the virus. A cure for AIDS will be lucrative. At one time we thought it was AZT, and it was patented. The mere existence of the patent does not hint a James Bond movie scientist. It just means the normal process of manufacturing a commodity.
I once worked with a software company that went out of business because the shape of the cartridge case was patented and they couldn't. create anymore of the same or get dies for a new cartridge without patenting it.
US Patent 6951219 is for the raising of blood temperature to near deadly levels in an effort to kill germs. We've also tried this with AIDS and it has failed. The existence of the patent doesn't mean it really works. 1000 Ronco product patents prove that.
Again, it's not just the cure that's patented, it's every process leading up to the production of the cure whether it pans out or not. AZT didn't pan out yet the process for preparing AZT still exists as patent 5466787.

I understand your point on the patent process. However, I wasn't merely noting a proposed patent. Go to google video and search for Dr. Boyd Graves, he claims to have used the patented cure on himself, and was my source for patent #5676977...Jeff, do you honestly believe if a cure for either AIDS or cancer were discovered, that it would be announced? There is NO money in the cures, relative to the money given to treatment and ongoing research. Pharmacutical executives are VERY well aware of this. So they actively seek to discount advances that would lead to improved health. Surely you realize we don't have 'health care', we have 'sickness care'. All the statistics prove this.

Glad to know you're still listening! That particular room wasn't nearly as racist as the previous debate in the podcast, the Difference between Republican and Democrat Reign. In the defense of these idiots, they knocked me off the mic because of my name, WarIsBad. War is holy to republicans.
How did you like the election? I'm waiting to see Obama's every decision picked apart, and the manufactured outrage to come.

where are these chatrooms that you go into. I want to find the one where they try and make you admit that there is something in black dna that makes them inferior educationally. Sounds like watered down social darwinism so I'd like to visit with them.
