This week I actually recorded a 4 hour conversation with Joe-6-pack of joe-6-pack.com, but I'll share a portion of that with you next week. This week I will talk primarily about race, particularly black women in media and how hard it is for them to grace the screen. If the topic of race discomforts you, you should stop the recording after we speak of healthcare and insurance.

But first, I show how Al Franken mercilessly takes apart a GOP liar. I like it when a lie is called a lie, but Al Franken stops just short of using words like lie and dishonest. He does ask to have an honest debate.

I also poke my nose into the notion of how much we are controlled by insurance companies. Not just the health insurance companies.

It's Time to Throw Republican Lawmakers into Jail

Lying to Congress is a crime. Shouldn't lying in Congress be a crime?

Republicans can be wrong and lie on FOX Noise, but can't lie in an official capacity. They should be fined and go to jail for misrepresenting pending legislation. But when a Congressman clearly lies and says for months in publicly funded town halls or on the floor of congress, that A is B and Y is Z, shouldn't that be a crime? We know there are exceptions for slander and libel for Congressmen on the floor of Congress, but what about a law maker misrepresenting pending federal legislation in an official capacity? Isn't it illegal for a public official to use public funds to rent a town hall and then lie about federal legislation?

What pussies! There's fear mongering and then there is OCDmongering. And then there's lying. The Republican robo-leaders aren't afraid of anything except fair elections.

I also talk about Carrie Prejean, Sarah Palin and Fort Hood.

I also break down spending over ten years. There has been much talk of how much we'll spend on health care, but the number is always raised an order of magnitude, multiplied by ten when we look at expenditures over the next ten years. Looking at numbers over the next ten years can be misleading. For instance, we all probably spend $100 per month on electricity. In one year, that's $1200, and in 10 years, that's $12,000. You wouldn't just say you're spending $12,000 on electricity, would you?

I'm more interested in next year. 849 billion dollars in ten years divides into 84 billion in one year. Still 849 billion is more than the stimulus package, a number that Republicans, feigning utter stupidity, say they can not fathom. So much money that if you spent a million dollars per day since Jesus was born, well, you get the picture. Let's look at the rest of our federal budget if we looked at it over ten years.

These numbers are all from George Bush's 2009 Budget. Obama's first budget is not until the year 2010.

Our total outlays would be around $30 trillion in ten years.

Of that, in Mandatory spending, we would spend $18.9 trillion.

Discretionary spending: $12.1 trillion.

$1.452 trillion for the Global War on Terror.
$5.154 trillion for the United States Department of Defense.
$6.606 trillion when you combine the two.
$6.44 trillion in outlays for Social Security.
$4.08 trillion for Medicare.
$2.24 trillion for Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program.
$3.60 trillion for Unemployment, Welfare, and Other mandatory spending. For those hawking over welfare, that's 10% of outlays over ten years and it's combined with other programs.
$2.60 trillion for Interest on National Debt.

All of these numbers exceed the amount we say we'll spend on health care. and again, some of the aforementioned dollars will be co-opted into health care.

Taking a look at the rest of our budget, in order of the amount spent, in ten years, we'll spend:

$704 billion for the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
$454 billion for the United States Department of Education.
$448 billion for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
$385 billion for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
$383 billion for State and Other International Programs.
$376 billion for the United States Department of Homeland Security.
$390 billion for Other Off-budget Discretionary Spending.
$250 billion for the United States Department of Energy.
$208 billion for the United States Department of Agriculture.
$203 billion for the United States Department of Justice.
$176 billion for NASA.
$125 billion for the United States Department of the Treasury.
$115 billion for the United States Department of Transportation.
$106 billion for the United States Department of the Interior.
$105 billion for the United States Department of Labor.
Mind you, all these numbers are over ten years.
$84 billion for the Social Security Administration.
$72 billion for Other agencies.
$71 billion for the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
$69 billion for the National Science Foundation.
$63 billion for the Judicial branch (United States federal courts).
$47 billion for the Legislative branch (United States Congress).
$47 billion for the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
$7 billion for the Small Business Administration.
$4 billion for the Executive Office of the President.

So there you have it. In the next ten years, compared to universal health care, we'll spend

nearly twice as much on the Global War on Terror, more than 6 times as much on the United States Department of Defense, Six times as much on social security, five times as much on Medicare, twice as much for Medicaid and Children's health insurance, though that number might be co-opted. Three times as much on unemployment and nearly three times as much on interest on the national debt. This is all based on 2009 numbers.

No, Timothy McVeigh isn't Jewish. He was an agnostic, but it should be just as important to know that he's not an Irish Catholic Christian terrorist as it is to know that he was not a Jewish terrorist. If I had posted as a title that he was a Christian terrorist, most would think it was true and no one would care that it's not true. The right would care, and actually run with it. The left should too. We should stop using him as an example of a Christian terrorist. Use Eric Rudolph.

I got depressed this week because after the Fort Hood Massacre, I had to drive a thousand miles in one day. I played my own music on the way to Mississippi, but on the way back, I allowed myself to listen to right wing media, and I couldn't believe they are still calling Obama a Muslim and that he had an Islamic upbringing in a Madrasah, which only means school. According to Wikipedia, Madrasah aamah translates as "public school". Madrasah khāṣah translates as "private school". Madrasah dīniyyah translates as "religious school". Madrasah Islamiyyah translates as "Islamic school". Madrasah Jami'ah translates as "university". But who needs facts like that in the GOP.

I won't go too deeply into the Fort Hood, but it brought out the stupid in the GOP. I can't even begin to to discuss all the blatant bigotry and stupidity I've heard since the incident. It's like they are looking for any excuse to behave in an unamerican way.

Pardon my microphone stand and my creaky chair. Lotta noise. And I don't know when my foot or whatever it was was touching my mic stand, but it sure did it a lot.

Last week was a week of fear in the news. Level heads were trying to speak science and truth, but the news, even MSNBC would rather do scary stories about H1N1 than make it clear that the world is not ending because of it, with or without the vaccine.

I also talk about more GOP hypocrisy such as Joe Wilson criticizing the vaccine shortage after voting against funding the vaccine.

I cover Joe Lieberman and why he's shifted to the right, with helpful eye-opening analysis from Ned Lamont.

FOX News NOT News and The Mainstream Media is Afraid to Admit It

I open up interrupted by my telephone, the moment my mouth opens to begin recording. Then I talk about Iran and how there's yet hope for Obama's warmongering.

I discuss the difference between our detainees and the “hostages” when any country we don't like arrests even admitted enemy spies and soldiers.

I discuss The Nobel Prize. I discuss FOX News and The Whitehouse. The mainstream media is all saying the same thing – that the Whitehouse should never call a spade a spade. I Right wingers think their taxes are higher under Obama and are ready to throw a tax revolt when their taxes were actually reduced. A person watching FOX will never know that.

I talk about my disdain for Mary Landrieu and Joe Lieberman. I declare that the market is not magical and there is no god of the market that makes everything it does work out great.

Lieberman is threatening to filibuster the public option. This is amazing for a man who ran with Al Gore.

I discuss Bill Maher and how he's crazy over religion and vaccinations.

The Tyrannical Podcast

This week I touch on the way we look at Afghanistan like aloof Olympian gods and goddesses who manipulate and bless and kill the people with impunity, and then get angry with them when they don't appreciate us.

I talk about medical triages and how US federal law forbids good will. I talk about two scened from The Age of Stupid, a fantastic documentary on how stupid we are for going on about our business while our environment changes. Like I said before, we're not killing the earth. We'll be the ones dying. Earth will bounce back eventually, without us.

I show how in England, conservatives are the same, using the same stupid lies and excuses, fighting reason and science. Meanwhile, my deep freezer chirps in the background. I contrast and compare conservatism and radicalism. Liberalism is not the opposite of conservationism. I take a stand against the use of the word, tyranny. Conservatism used the word, but doesn't know what it means. They always use use it out of context.

Conservatives ruined the first environmental movement in the 70s that could have saved us all and brought a new economy. I talk about hos conservatives hate the Constitution. They only like the 2nd Amendment. Conservatives aren't radical, but they act radically when they want to.

I lament how our lifestyle, and the lifestyles of Europe and Indians and Chinese ravage Africa. I Lament how there can be as much as six times more plastic than plankton in some parts of the sea, forcing fish and some whales to eat more of our garbage to filter out the food. I don't mention that there is also a floating patch of garbage the size of Texas in the Pacific. I lament how we only see macho solutions to problems, not eclectic ones that tap into multiple resources.

I kick off a new fun segment called right wing noise machine. I hope to do it much more in the future. Let me know if you like it. I poke fun at teabaggers.

I analyze Senator Graham's disingenuous reply to a leading question from FOX News. Graham doesn't like Glenn Beck, but I give him no points for it.

We talk about civility with Representative Grayson of Florida. Now, all of a sudden, Republicans call him a nutjob but in the next breath take him to task about name-calling and civility. Wolf Blitzer joins right in, trying to seem balanced to the right wingers, but he doesn't give a crap how he looks to left wingers. They want an apology from Grayson. They want him to turn the other cheek and apologize while they continue lying.

I also explain why being able to shop for insurance across state lines is yet another way that republicans serve their masters at our expense. Shopping for insurance across state lines is just a slippery slope to Delaware and The Cayman Islands.

I tackle tort reform and how it insults life, and how it doesn't help doctors. It's been proven already that tort reform does not lower malpractice insurance premiums. According to the LA Times,the truth is that medical liability isn't a big driver of health costs overall. Studdert estimates the cost of malpractice litigation, in court and through defensive medicine, at roughly 2% to 3% of all U.S. healthcare spending -- in other words, no more than $50 billion out of a total annual bill of $1.7 trillion. (You'll hear estimates as high as $200 billion from outfits like the American Medical Assn., which is the antithesis of an objective source.)

We talk about kids singing about President Obama and the outrage. I expose how kids have indeed sung to other presidents who were not Democrats. I talk about how I was spanked a lot in elementary and middle school, and how kids do and sing things in school that they don't necessarily agree with.

I talk about Representative Trent Frank, Republican of AZ. Speaks with forked tongue about how he now agrees Obama was born in America. I defend birthers as not being crazy. They are just stupid. There's a difference.

I talk about GPS and the census. Right wingers are up in arms that the government wants to know where you live on a map. Never mind that any time they want to communicate with you, they mail you. That kinda proves Obama knows where you live. The IRS knows.

I also explain how the right doesn't want the Hispanic population to be fully counted in the census. It leads to me railing against parties. I think political parties are traitorous in nature. A good Democrat or a good republican must commit treason at one time or another, because their allegiance is not with the nation.

I talk about Earth Day vs. Tea parties in a debate between Bill O'reilly and Bernie Goldberg. I move on into the confederacy and the Native American holocaust and Woodsy The Owl.

I talk about the Humana letter and how Republicans are openly lying about the legality of it and Humana's obligation. They openly encourage breaking the law.

Last, I lament Obama following in the steps of George Bush, spreading fear about Iran.

The Long-Ass Podcast. How Many Ways can the GOP Lie?

In this podcast, I talk about Caroline Michelle "Carrie" Prejean, the former Miss California weep at the values voter conference, and she should have wept, because she was mistreated by us. Perez Hilton was an asshole in response to her answer.

I also analyze Lou Dobbs, a man of unimaginable angst, as he approached race and Obama and lambastes MSNBC. I don't agree with Keith and Rachel and President Carter on race and Obama. I explain how it's the Republican Party, not Republicans who are against Democratic districts, not necessarily Blacks who tend to live there.

I talk about Obama's qualifications to be President, and how none of his credentials matter.

We discuss Chris Wallace, who whines about Obama failing to appear on Fox News Sunday. He calls the Whitehouse childish and petty for not expanding Sunday's media blitz to FOX.

We discuss hecklers at the Values Voters Conference, who thought it was a townhall meeting and tried to stop reporters from covering the event.

We discuss how FOX news ran an ad that claimed CNN and other news agencies didn't cover the 9-12 idiocy. CNN as able to show once a gain, that FOX lied.

I decry the two party system, which is a scam. Your constitution does not promise you two parties or bi-partisanship! We would have really clear politics without parties. Fewer lies, and likely no deficit. There should be no politics in the halls of Congress! I go Glen Beck and almost weep while I say this.

I talk about the evolution of Glenn Beck and the audience he plays to, how he played to right leaning independents on HLN and how he plays to wackos on FOX.

I digress into the Apple s. Windows war. I take the side of Windows because of the misrepresentatons in the Mac vs. PC commercials.

Last, I take on ACORN, tax preparation, sub prime loans, and of course, voter registration. I dare talk about race mixing and TV. Then I talk about how Republicans tend to go to jail for voter registration scams, not ACORN. Yes, I realize that I call Karl Rove Bob Dole in this section.

I also defend ACORN in the pimp and prostitute scandal.

Part Two of Neil Cavuto News Ho! In this episode, I address Cash for Appliances and the right wing lies regarding it. Somehow, the government giving you a rebate for buying energy efficient refrigerators is "oppressive." We also take apart The idiot who got his pinky bitten off after he repeatedly punched a Move On activist. Do you think Neil Cavuto ever suggested that it was a bad idea to punch out people at a rally? Nope! Neil tells the man, "God Bless you."

Afghanistan is a war of choice, a condescending "national re-education camp" that would not be tried with a western power. We have been bombing that country long enough! Not another American life should be lost there! The notion that we can't allow them to plot against us is like declaring war on thought, which is a higher magnitude of delusion than the war on terror.

I also dissect part of last weeks meet the press where more republicans lied about health care and Democrats continued to worsen things by being deceptively silent on who's going to pay for health care reform. Most of us would pay premiums on the public option. It won't be free to everyone. Just saying that would pull many frightened independents on our side. Obama-care as they call it, is about reasonably priced health care insurance, not free government-run health care systems.
